Marcy Recumbent Mag Cycle Review

Marcy Recumbent Mag CycleIt was almost 2 weeks before I come up to a decent magnetic bike that I saw on amazon. At first it did not appeal to me because i thought it was like those others that do not deliver quality performance magnetic bikes that I experience in some cheap gyms that I go to. Yes, I like being practical and all the time, would test things out first before diving into a buying action. I may sound cheap but then again, being cheap is different from being wise, a whole lot different concept.

Anyway, I came up with this magnetic bike, the Marcy Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike. I wanted to buy the upright one but my cousin and I agreed on some terms. I will buy the recumbent bike and she will be buying the upright one. It works because we live in same house.

Three things to point out on this recumbent bike:

For its cost, it has the standard 8 levels of preset resistance. It is pretty decent for it s price of just under $190. I can say that these 8 levels pack its own powers and can be a challenge for someone like us. It has a nice knob that can be easily adjusted. One thing for sure that I felt is that, it does not feel like the ones I used in some cheap gym. It is actually worth it for me because the experience is more than I expected.

It has a decent console display for viewing of your speed, distance, time, and calories burned. It may not have pulse monitor but it can be considered. Anyway that extra button would just take up space for someone like me. I would prefer a wrist pulse watch rather than not so accurate pulse pads. More or less it works just like in those bikes that cost more.

It has more or less superb pedals that are counterbalanced. Really adds the feeling of a $500 recumbent bike, I liked that it still can have adjustable pedal straps which feels more secured biking. An one thing, it has transport wheels which somehow a must for my standards, well it is a plus for me plus the fact that it only takes up 55 x 40 x 25 inches (W x H x D) to be exact.

Having this bike over those bikes on some cheap gym is worth it for the long terms. It will save me a fortune plus a better experience in exercising. Truly this bike is recommendable to those who are wise enough to choose potentially trending magnetic bike. Easy on the exercise and on the wallet, would give it a 4 star for its affordability and dependability.
