Copper mobile screw back earrings created by Art Smith of New York City, New York.
Smith worked in Manhattan's Greenwich Village, running a shop there from 1946 until 1979 just before his death. Many of his pieces were designed to be worn by avant-garde dancers who influenced his style.
Earrings measure 2 5/8" long by 1 1/2" wide and are unsigned. In very good vintage condition.
